About Me

Dianna Troutt is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples and family psychotherapy, and she has had a private practice in Newport Beach, California since 2003. 

Dianna has over twenty years experience as a clinician, and is a graduate of Chapman University with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology.  Since graduation, Dianna has worked in private practice, specializing in helping clients overcome old patterns so they can live happier, more satisfying lives. She currently practices in Newport Beach and works with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, couples/relationship issues, children/parenting, and anger management.

In addition, Dianna Troutt has recently had two articles about parenting published in OC Family Magazine (August and December 2007) in their "Ask the Experts" column.

Dianna Troutt is a practical, supportive, solution-focused therapist. Her  treatment approach is to provide practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns in a positive atmosphere. She incorporates a blend of approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful and hopeful for each client.  With sensitivity and compassion, she works with clients to help them build on strengths so they can identify and achieve their life goals.
